Experienced broadcast journalist who offers top notch investigative reporting and compelling, character driven stories.  McDowell also has served as anchor and host for various media both news and entertainment including Sirius XM and IHeart radio.  She possesses strong digital media audience building skills and has production and editing experience.  McDowell has covered wars in the Western Sahara, immigrants and racial tension in Paris, and secured interviews with controversial figures like then Cuban president Fidel Castro and late PLO leader Yasser Arafat.  She was a star reporter/anchor for the ABC affiliate in Harrisburg, PA.  As the featured enterprise reporter with “Best Talk In Town” on WPIX-TV in New York, McDowell was known for award winning series including one on children guilty of patricide that focused on an exclusive with a teenage girl who killed her father.  She also snagged the first exclusive interview with the nation’s first surrogate. McDowell has reported for CNN, NPR, AP broadcast and many others.   She is currently Washington bureau chief and senior correspondent for an international network Arise TV.
